Who would in a music battle between music from the United States and music from the United Kingdom?

Examples: 

UK: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, David Bowie, The Who, Elton John, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rod Stewart, The Police, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Eric Clapton, Billy Idol, Jethro Tull, Van Morrison, U2, The Animals, The Kinks, Duran Duran, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Thin Lizzy, The Moody Blues, AC/DC (Australia but Bon Scott and Young Brothers are Scottish by birth and Brian Johnson is English), Jimi Hendrix Experience (Jimi was American but the group was British and formed in London), Sex Pistols, Clash, The Cure, Motörhead, Whitesnake, Judas Priest, The Smith’s,  Bee Gees, Deep Purple, Yes, Dire Straits, Radiohead, Oasis, Foghat, Genesis, the Outfield.
