Navy Seal question?
If you fail as a navy seal do you have to get another job in the navy? Or could you just leave the navy?

You get another job. You signed an eight year contract, they are not going to let you out of it just because you failed to become a SEAL.

There are various other jobs in the Navy that do not require a lot of physical skills and extensive technical aptitude...Boatswain's Mate, Electrician, Culinary Art, Administrative Skills, Disbursing, Storekeeper, etc.

your in the navy, so you get retrained into another job
at most, they might allow you to reduce your enlistment from 6 years down to just 4 years

If you fail BUDs you will receive another assignment based on the needs of the Navy. In order to be on a Team you must also be on a probation period and have completed SQT.

If you don't get what you want you are going to take your anchor and go home?

You can't just leave the Navy if you fail BUDS. You have to do something else.
