Because that wasn't Jesus in the Old Testament. That was some other God that was concocted by Moses.

Very, very sad. The scales are formidable. The person of Jesus is revealed in the Gospels. Paul addressed theology by inspiration of the Holy spirit.

Don't be a hypocrite. You would cut out a malignant tumor if you could. Why can't God?

Harsh people, harsh Law. Gentle people, gentle Gospel.

It seemed like the right thing to do at the time but we got rainbows out of the deal so it's not all bad.

Satan has failed to crack the integrity of such loyal brothers and sisters by direct frontal attack. So, what other crafty devices does he employ? Revelation 12:12 says of these last days: “Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.” Having failed to annihilate God’s loyal people by persecutions, in his anger he attempts to massacre entire populations, no doubt with a view to destroying Jehovah’s people along with the rest.

Because some nations we to corrupt to even reform. He knew he had to wait long enough to get enough righteous people to fill the earth. In those nations they abused women. Use babies for human sacrifice and precited homosexual activities. From oral and anal sex the diseases would have eventually killed all the humans.

"Genocide" is not the right word. Judgment is more correct.

They were Half demons, Baby sacrificing, Serial killers, Rapists, and Perverse and not to mention it was constant world war in those days anyone who wouldn't submit to Jesus meant they were a physical threat to the safety of his people.

I mean I'll give an example the city Sodom and Gomorra that God destroyed people whine about that but when only two angels showed up the entire city tried to kill a family and break into their house to rape them.

    Jesus is good bud.

    • A made up story to justify genocide of thousands of innocents. The Canaanites were polytheist, sure, but so what? They were a people living their life like the rest of the world. The Jewish holy book dehumanizes them in order to justify killing them and taking their land.
