    It it were a science, how come "experts" advocate opposing ploicies to tackle the same problem?

    and ultimately, it's not about money. It's about how to allocate things that are scarce. Money is just a tool to simplify/dumb-down the issues - and sometimes even to draw away attention from things that really matter...

    No, a social science without superstition. It's all about the efficient allocation of resources, not money.
