Will my child have scoliossis?

I have scoliosis which is a curvature of the spine.Me and my girlfriend are considering having a child.

I know scoliosis can be hereditary. However, we are trying our best to make sure that condition does not get passed down. We don't want to have a baby if there is a big risk that our child will get scoliosis. Your thoughts plz

It's unknown HOW genetic it is, which tells me it isn't a matter of having a faulty allele once or twice.

If it were simply a dominant allele the chance of you passing it on would be 50%.

If it were simply a recessive allele the chance of your girlfriend passing it on would be 50%, but only if she is a carrier.

Basically, we KNOW that the chance is significantly smaller than 50 %
