No. The original Dream Act included a provision for these students to have access to federal student loans, but that act never passed in Congress. The Executive Order issued by President Obama gave Dreamers certain rights with respect to remaining in the country and attending school, but because only Congress can appropriate funds, he could not include the funding part. So, Dreamers are not eligible for any type of federal student aid, regardless of whether they have a social security number. However, in some states they are eligible for in-state tuition and some schools offer some form of institutional aid from their own resources. There are also some private scholarships available, but for the most part, DACA students are on their own when it comes to paying for college.
