Why does my kitty bite me?

When Iam petting her, she bites me, it’s not a hard bite thou.

    That can be a game.

    But it might mean "Hey, stop what you're doing." Like maybe you are petting a ticklish spot on something. It's like you'd swat someone's hand away if it was bothering you.

    My cats do that, it's their way of saying "okay that's enough, stop petting me!"

    It's called a love bite. My cats will do it to me, even the one that's bat **** crazy.

    possibly due to her history, is she a rescue cat? sometimes cats ocassionaly bite. if it doesn't bother you, accept there are times she doesn't feel very sociable.

    Kittens usually bite simply because it is a form of play for them, but in an adult cat, it clearly means they want you to stop what you are doing.
