Johnson is being backed by hedge funds and speculators, they need a no deal crash out, or, at the very least a very hard brexit to happen as they are invested heavily in shorting the British pound and the economy. Boris is desperate to help them, he can't stand any criticism of his *deal* or any modification of it, for his whole life he has never understood why everyone around him questions his motives, he believes he should get what he wants, when he wants it...

Johnson was sacked twice for lying when he was a journalist and once when he was a junior minister. He lied during the referendum campaign about the amount of money that would be saved by leaving the EU and that it would be spent on the National Health Service. He lied about Turkey being about to join the EU giving millions of Turkish nationals the right to flood in. Those lies swung the vote to leaving the EU. He lied to the Queen about the reason for suspending parliament when the real reason was to stifle debate on Brexit. He is an unashamed serial liar and that is why many MPs do not trust him for attempting to rush through his Brexit proposals.
