@ curtisports2: The Skin 'organ' is the Integumentary System that includes the dermii, adipose, fingernail and hair functions. I agree the Liver is second largest single Internal organ.

Skin accounts for 8% ±2% of body weight.  A 170 pound person may have 10 to 17 pounds of skin.  The second heaviest organ, the intestines, measures about one-third to one-half of the skin mass.

Lôn comments, "Wrong....the liver is the largest internal organ", overlooking that Tony's criteria is simply "organ", not "internal organ".  Without the incorrect restriction, skin has the greatest mass by far.  Even with the restriction, however, the intestines outweigh the liver greater than 2-to-1.

    Internal organ?.....the Liver.

Largest in the whole body is the skin.

    for Kilmouseky.... from Wikipedia :-

The longest bone in the human body is the femur.

The largest artery is the aorta and the largest vein is the inferior vena cava.

The largest internal organ (by mass) is the liver, with an average of 1.6 kilograms (3.5 pounds).

The largest external organ, which is also the largest organ in general, is the skin.

The longest muscle is the sartorius muscle in the thigh.

The longest single nerve is the sciatic nerve in the thigh, counting its branches and axons.
