    Aussies mostly enjoy:

Lamb (roast, grilled or in a stir-fry)

    Beef (steak, roast, mince)

A standard Aussie meal would be one type of meat and 3 different types of vegetables for the evening meal, often followed by dessert.

We like a bit of everything really, traditional Irish food is really boring so we tend to go for foreign food like asian or italian. Most restaurants in my area are italian, Chinese, thai and indian. Beef would be hugely popular here with most people.

Quality fish and chips. Had it the other day with fried Pollock (a revelation) mushy pea purée, excellent thick chips and tartare sauce.
