I made teryiki chicken last night and today when it went to referigerate it it basically turned into a paste. why is this?

i have no problem eating leftover teryiki chicken from restaurants, its always delicious and never pasty. why did my mines turn into a nasty paste over night. i had it stored in the refrigerator in a to go box.

    The sauce thickened because it was chilled. The fat in the sauce will firm it up. Once you begin to heat it up it will thin out again
