Why are Halloween colors orange and black?

    Google told me black and orange were deliberately chosen as high-contrast opposites, with orange symbolizing warmth and autumn, and black representing cold and winter. I also imagine it’s because of carved pumpkins with orange on the outside and black on the inside. but I found this article a little more informative.
