Does crossfire work on all games or only supported games?

Only supported games, some games it's going to give a small bonus, others it does nothing. When you've got to buy a large PSU and special motherboard to run Crossfire, it really is cheaper to skip all that and just buy a better single card.

There are tons of videos out there of people testing it.

It "works" on all games, but you could get crashes, fps studder or even worse performance versus just using only one gpu. Crossfire and SLI is not recommended and even the latest revisions of both AMD and Nvidia gpus have disabled that option and even prevent you from even using it all together.

    Only Supported games.

And..... sometimes you don't get that much of a performance boost with Crossfire. There are only a handful of games that work well with crossfire or SLI.

My son games on a 4k monitor. Originally he tried using two RX 480 cards in Crossfire but then he switched to a GTX 1080ti.

The new RX 5700 series cards do not support Crossfire, so that should say something.
