Crystals form through crystallization, diamonds form through heat and immense pressure.

Crystals could be copper sulphate crystals, aluminium sulphate crystals etc....diamonds are pure carbon.

    Both are crystalisation processes.

Crystals often form in nature when liquids cool and start to harden. Certain molecules in the liquid gather together as they attempt to become stable. They do this in a uniform and repeating pattern that forms the crystal.

Diamonds were formed in special conditions, over 3 billion years ago, deep within the Earth's crust under conditions of intense heat and pressure that cause carbon atoms to crystallise forming diamonds. .

A crystal is a regular, geometric organization of atoms. Diamond is a crystal form of carbon. The particular crystal structure is “face-centered cubic” and often it's called a “Diamond cubic crystal structure” because diamond is one of the first crystals known with that particular structure.

Diamond is a crystal. Diamonds are the hardest crystal compared to other crystals.Diamond has exceptional optical properties in contrast to other crystals. Thermal conductivity is higher for diamonds than many other crystals. Diamonds are expensive compared to many of the other crystals.
