failed nj inspection for emmison test bulb check, code p1155. What does that mean? Easy to fix?

    Unless a bozo bothered to take the instrument cluster apart and clip the bulb off of the circuit board you have a bad PCM.

    Nice to mention the year make and model vehicle. I would have looked up common problems for your car on my tech line!

    It means the previous owner of the car disabled the check engine light bulb because he couldn't figure out how to fix the code causing fault and then sold the car.

    It's a fault in the upstream O2 sensor heater circuit on the second cylinder bank. Could be bad wiring, loose connector or failed O2 sensor.

    Ask the mechanic for a quotation. Then phone around as get other shops to quote.
