You mean wine that has oxidised? It would give no health benefits at all. It would be just like drinking fresh wine except it would have an unpleasant taste.

Sour wine. Isn't that called vinegar?

    Yes

    but

    a recent, exhaustive study

determined that the health benefits of consuming wine

are overshadowed by the detriments of consuming wine.

That is to say: even though it has been shown that drinking wine daily reduces the risk of things like heart attack

it increases the risk of other diseases

so much that the increased risks far outweigh the reduced risks.

Note: even for those who drink just one glass of wine per day.

    So: skip the wine.

Hmmm...I admit that I don't know of any study detailing health benefits or detriments of consuming vinegar.

Unlikely. Ethanol and acetic acid don't really provide much nutritional value. And there won't be any other nutrients therein that you can't source anywhere else. It's unlikely it would do you any harm, however, if you just drank a small amount.

It may affect your gut flora, for better or for worse is another debate.
