am I sleeping too much and is it bad for me?

I go to bed at 6pm every evening and wake up at 10 am in the morning.

    Yes & yes it is not healthy to sleep that much. You first need to see a doctor and make sure you are healthy. If you feel exhausted and the need to sleep this much you could have an illness or something easy to fix like low iron levels. If you are sleeping a lot due to depression you need to get treatment for that including therapy, taking medication alone does not help depression. You need to learn healthy coping skills.

    Yes youre sleeping 16 hours a day, that's way too much sleep and yes it is bad for you, it's just about as bad as not getting enough sleep

    If you're sleeping that much there is most likely an underlying problem. Because no one needs that much sleep.

    There is absolutely no reason to be sleeping for 16 hours a day! If you're that tired, there's something wrong. Make a doctor's appointment to find out why you need more than 8 hours sleep.
