Should Canada impose stricter immigration and refugee laws in wake of the mass illegal crossings into Canada?

Absolutely necessary. Allowing certain people to violate laws makes a mockery of the Rule of Law. It completely undermines civil society. Canada has allowed far too much immigration for too long, and has needed to reduce immigration markedly for quite a number of years. Allowing any visa/immigration law violations magnifies all the problems associated with the economy, job market, housing, education, integration of people with different cultures & backgrounds into a cohesive & sustainable society of excessive immigration. Zero tolerance for visa/immigration violations. And sharp reductions in immigration numbers are essential - just as essential for Canada as for US, UK, and all the other countries plagued by lawbreakers.

What canada should or should not do is up to Canada.... in so far as Refugee laws they are international, not country and Canadas immigration laws are strict already and up to them how they operate them in practise

All those Americans streaming in and diluting Canada's racial purity! They're going to breed like rabbits and bankrupt your welfare system not to mention the diseases - smallpox, bubonic plague, AIDS they're carrying and the right-wing terrorist threat!

Build the wall now - and get Trumpy to pay for it!
