Can the coldness of ice packs “burn” fat or is it just a myth? ?

Just to clear it up, I’m talking about applying the ice to skin for a duration of time.

A myth.  Cool sculpting is a different  process.  Nothing applied to the skin is likely to do much except cause frostbite.  A person in an extremely cold environment (like loast in a blizzard) could shiver enough to burn more fat, but you can't apply an ice pack and sit in a 70-degree room and except to spot reduce.

    Instead, exercise and cut calories.

The only way to burn fat is to have a calorie deficit. All these myths like 'Banana will make you lose weight!' are false, unless you actively burn more calories than you eat. Alone these banana's won't make you lose. I hope you understand

You should have asked Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman to test the myth.
