Is it a good sign if sales manager explains commission structure during interview?

Met with two managers one by one for sales job, after interview with first manager the second one came and asked me few quick questions then explained the commission structure to me on a whiteboard.... is that a good sign i got the job ?

    it might be since they might not have explained it if you didnt get the job

    Its not a good sign necessarily. Companies should tell you how your compensated. If your motivated by money, then you have the chance to be a good salesman. If your not motivated by the commission schedule, then you aren't. But since you want to be a salesman, then sell yourself. Send a thank you note to the managers that interviewed you. Call the manager and ask if the process is going well and if there is any other information that they need in order to make the right decision for their company. "You could sell yourself." You want to be a sales person, so sell yourself as the best person for this job.
