Why wasn't Boone immediately fired after Game 6?

    No idea probably because they still have to pay him.

    Boone signed a 3 year contract in December 2017 so he has a year left on that deal. He's taken the Wankers to the playoffs in each of his first 2 years and there a members of the New York sports media who are touting him as the AL Manager of the Year.

    Cashman won't fire the crybaby until he fails to make the WS next year.

    Where were you with this question after game 2? That's where he lost the series. Cashman and Boone are trying to reinvent baseball. Now they can go home and dream up new absurdities to try with their pitching staff. Baseball doesn't change. Starting pitching wins games. Look at the rotations of the 2 teams left.
