Native English speakers, could you please help me with these issues?
1. Is this sentence corect:
"Enrique Iglesias PLAYED a concert in Argentina last year. "
2. Does 'to walk up the stairs' mean the same as 'to climb the stairs'?
And is it correct to say 'to walk down the stairs'?
By analogy, I assume it is, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
By the way, is there another way to express the idea of 'walking down the stairs' (as it happens in regard to 'walking up the stairs'.

Yes you can walk up the stairs and walk down the stairs
Also you can go up the stairs or go down the stairs
You can run up stairs and run down stairs
I'd saying going up the stairs is most common
