Olive oil, Coconut oil and Aloe Vera make my hair dry. What can I use?

When I was younger, my hair was thick and I used to regularly use Olive oil on my hair to keep it soft and healthy. I would also use Aloe vera and it would leave my hair soft.

Now my hair is thinner, dry and a bit brittle. When I try to use olive oil, aloe vera or even coconut oil, they just make my hair more dry.

I use an ACV rinse which kind of helps but I want oils that will penetrate my hair and keep it healthy since conditioners don't help much either.

"Enjoy" pomade. Loved it for many years.

Basically, those oils were not intended as hair treatments.  You might get better results by going to a hair salon that specializes in treatments for dry hair.  They would probably have special products for your hair's condition.
