Why did Apple get rid of the home button?

Facial recognition to unlock your iPhone is incredibly creep.

I think it’s so they could get a bigger battery and a longer battery life, I have the 11 for a month and my phone never died on me and I barely charge it during the day.

I think its because the screen space is so valuable, every space counts, unlike computers where you have plenty of monitor space especially with large monitors.

Yep it's crazy. I'm sticking to my iPhone 8 as long as I can.

Why, to make people feel like even without it, they still needed to buy it. And buy it they still do.

I agree. I liked the home button and finger print recognition better. Apple continues to “Fix” things that aren’t even fùcking broken.
