Voting is useless unless you are a member of the Electoral College. Witness the fact that in 2016 the vast majority of the American People voted for Hillary;but that, the Electoral College blithely overrode us and installed the demagogue Trump who demands personal loyalty to himself above country like a dictator, and says that a president should rule unencumbered by the Constitution.

Voting for any of the socialists is useless because you would be imprisoning yourself just like the Venezuelans did to there once rich county . As a matter of fact they were the richest in South America . The correct vote Is the man the socialists plotted their coup against . Our hard working president Trump is the who is delivering prosperity and safety and fighting drugs that are creating sidewalk people and dead kids

Voting for President, yeah, pretty much. But most of the candidates and issues on your ballot will pertain to local things so it's still important to cast your vote. You don't get to complain about your Senators or House member if you didn't even vote.

Many local and state questions end up on the ballots, one may have a voice in those. I'm in Ma, it is going to go to the left, going to go the liberal way in federal elections. So any vote for anyone that isn't the leader on the left, is a waste. But we do on occasion wind up with a republican governor.  Not that he has an aweful lot of pull when everyone else is a lib. But it is a nice token.

State and local elections are important. And why do you think people were so surprised when Trump won? People didn't bother to vote because they were sure Hillary would win.

Posting on this site is useless unless you have an actual question

Florida is a "huge swing state" that voted for Trump by over 100,000 votes. How is 1 vote going to have an impact in such a huge state? And even if Florida went for Hillary, it wouldn't have been enough to change the outcome of the election. All votes are useless unless a state is decided by 1 vote in 1 state that changes the outcome of the election.
