Will a raw AR upper receiver bolt tunnel wear faster than an anodized one?

I think raw receivers will make a friendly rifle look with wood furniture but what about wear?

Anodizing is plating that will wear off before any scoring to the metal.

Anodizing helps prevent rust, sometimes looks nice.

Bead peening is like a thin case hardening, seen that hold up longer.

They do have such attachments for bead blasting bores and internal machinings.

Anodized aluminum is MUCH tougher than raw aluminum. If you keep it properly lubed, there will not be much of a problem.
