    moles of CO2 = (140 g) / (44 g/mol) = 3.2 mol

Heat generated = (actual mol of CO2 formed / estimated mol of CO2) x estimated heat

    Heat generated = (3.2 mol / 4 mol) x 2.86 x 10³ kJ = 2.3 x 10³ kJ
