Why is it you get paid a few dollars more in a raise?
But still end up making the same as before because of taxes. "Everyone is like you make all the money. " Anyone else like this?

I've always noticed a larger paycheck after a raise. Either on paper, or online, I got a statement showing exactly what the pay was, and how much was deducted for each thing. $1 of raise didn't mean an increase of $1 in a paycheck, but it always meant something. Look carefully.

I always saw an increase in my pay check with every raise - and I appreciated whatever the amount was.

It took two raises for me to even start noticing a better net income result. I've been with the company 5 years and give them 110 percent of me and the people that just skate by get the same raise.
