Wear a jacket and maybe gloves while you're working in the cold distribution room. But don't buy the type of ear plugs or headphones that will cancel out all the noise. You need to be able to hear some of the noise that going on around you, for your own safety.

My husband worked in the walmart distribution center warehouse for 14 years. He layered up his clothes and when it got too hot, he would layer down. It was good pay but my husband didn't like the way management treated him.

Hi. You can wear thick jacket, wear gloves, wear good cotton pants that are thick, and buy thin earplugs from the pharmacy or online. The earplugs may cut off some background noise but you can still hear someone speaking to you.

All the best. Maybe you can take up some courses and learn some useful skills so that you can have a better paying job.

Take care. I empathise with you. Just take it with a positive attitude.

Go to 3M.com and select and buy noise plugs. You may want to buy a set of noise-cancellation ear muffs. Go to Amazon and order lined work gloves in a size larger. I just received a pair of work gloves size 3X. Be sure to search for lined gloves since you will be inside a cold warehouse.

If you can't figure it out, make funeral arrangements now... no sense putting the burden on someone else

You dress warm, see if you can use headphones, and listen to music.
