Is there any way to find out if a candidate for president is getting paid by another country for something?

There is no way to find out, since the "news" manufacturers will always cover for Democrats.

The two best ways are tax returns and campaign finance reports.
A tax return should include information on income and between attachments and schedules may reveal the sources. (Of course, in the case of a candidate who is the primary owner of a closely-held corporation, you will need the corporate tax return.)
The campaign finance report will include all "donations" -- both monetary and non-monetary -- and "loans" received by the campaign. Of course, any donations received from another country are supposed to be returned and not accepted.

It's been around for a long time, and you're also using it. The internet.
