Why don’t black guys get white tattoos?

White tattoos are very difficult to do even for a person with 'white' skin.

White ink will hold onto the melanin in the skin. Melanin is the stuff in the skin that gives your skin its pigment. More melanin means you have a darker skintone.

With more melanin in the skin, the more there is for the white ink to grab onto.

With white people, white ink tattoos end up looking pale pink or peachy colored. For darker skin tone people it looks like a pale version of their skintone.

This is why white tattoos just aren't done, because they never stay white.

Good question. I see black guys with beautiful elaborate tatoos come in where I work but you really can't see the detail. Lighter colors would show up better.
