As almost always Middle East wars are decided by who can rule the skies.

Better questions are, "Are they stupid enough to try?" and "Why would they want to?" In 1948, Israel repelled invasion by seven Arab countries. Turkey did not join them.

Turkey may have a military strong enough to defeat the Israeli army in a conventional war, but Israel has nuclear weapons.

Turkey is more than 800 kilometers from Israel

so, no they would have no chance at all

No. First off, Israel has nukes. Secondly, Israel has had a lot of experience in war over the past 70 years vs Turkey which has been safe under the NATO treaty and has not had a lot of real combat experience. Third, Israel is a real innovator when it comes to equipment and tactics. Turkey is basically using WW Two tactics with newer equipment.

I would have to agree with the other answerers, Israel is a much better trained, equipped and lead army than Turkey.

Oh hell no. Israel has the strongest army in the Middle East. It has mandatory service for one thing. Which means every man and woman has been trained in warfare. And it has the latest and greatest weapon systems, provided by the US, which makes the best weapon systems.

But expect for the recent purchase of Russian ADA equipment, Turkey as a member of NATO has several US weapon systems.

No because Israel is funded by the US
