It’s nice in most places and safer than it used to be as there’s less terrorist acts. Public transport is improving but if you get the bus at rush hour it’s very busy and not Th at many people actually like tea and state schools( public schools ) are improving but private schools are still a bit better. Houses cost loads ( if your comparing to usa and healthcare is kind of free

Boring. Your choices are either work or pub. People keep to themselves. Everything is done by the book. People like to talk about weather, politics, food or what time they finish their shift

I would imagine it is amazing to live in because England is the perfect country.

A perfect country is one that is cheap, has great weather, lots of free time and lots to see and do. England is not the perfect country

Like any country, it depends on how wealthy you are. If you are rich, it's very nice indeed. If you are poor, you can claim benefits but life will be a struggle. Most of us are somewhere in between.

The majority of British people live in towns and cities. Some of the cities are huge. The pace of life can be fast, especially in London. It makes people appear reserved.

However, most of the land is rural and a few of us live there. The pace of life is much slower. A trip to the village shops can take ages because it's a social occasion.

The climate is unpredictable. Hollywood shows it raining or foggy all the time. That's not accurate. London has less average rainfall than Rome or New York. However, it's unpredictable. You can never plan an outdoor event and be certain it will be dry, even in mid summer.

There are countless accents. A person from Cornwall, in SW England, sounds nothing like someone from Northumberland in NE England. A person from Glasgow sounds different to a person from Edinburgh.

I have enjoyed travelling in Europe, Asia and North America. UK feels like a reasonable place to live.

Depends where in the UK you live, and what you're comparing it to.
