What's the point of having friends?

If they're never there when you need them...Would you consider them friends?

They can help you in bad times.

Friends make you happy and are supposed to be there for you. If they're not, they're not your real friends. I must say I was very depressed for a long time because I felt so alone and making friends was the only thing that helped me get over that and made me feel genuine happiness again...I know it sounds cheesy but I promise you if you put yourself out there and be your true self I promise you you will make real friends. Take it from a very shy person who literally didn't have any real friends for 2 years because I was quiet and was being someone I wasn't.

If they aren't there to support you when you need it then they are not a true friend

No point. I tried making friends in school but it only led to rivalries. And plus I can't even get along with my own sibling. I'd rather be alone, I don't like people anymore.

They weren't a true true friend.

A true true friend helps a friend in need.
