Words like Victor and Vincent "vincere" have to do with Victory, though they are not Hebrew in origin.

The interesting thing about words that end in IA is that these are basically ee-Yah meaning is Yah. Victor--IA could mean Victory Yah if you combine a non-Hebrew word "Victor" with Hebrew words.

I assume you mean Vickie , which is your user name.

The answer is that there isn t one. Vickie is short for Victoria, which is a Latin word meaning victory . Roman mythology also had a goddess with that name, corresponding to the Greek goddess Nike (the origin of the name of the sportswear company).

There are no characters in the bible named Victoria, presumably because the name did not become popular until centuries later.

In summary, your name has no link to Christianity and you are in fact named after a pagan goddess.

You mean "Vickie"? That should be short for "Victoria" (= victory). No biblical meaning.
