Mammals have hair/fur, and live birth. Birds have feathers, and lay eggs.

They missed it: mammals breast feed - birds do not.

Definition changes. Birds are warm blooded, have hair, but lay eggs so they are not mammals. To me I think the term mammal should be restricted to live/still born-birth-giving creatures. We have humans with no hair, are they not mammals.

That is true. They are not mammals. Google it.
