How can I improve jumps/leaps?

I don’t have any problem with flexibility (I have my right split/left oversplit, etc.) and I’d stay I’m decently strong in my legs, but for some reason I can’t get height/can’t get my legs up in my jumps/leaps and I was wondering if anyone had any tips to improve this problem? Thanks!

    which was answered by the most experienced person on this section.

    I still say 'strength' although I would also look at 'extention'. If you are not 'extending' correctly then you don't give the hips the freedom to get the legs higher.

    Your height is irrelevant.

    You might want ankle weights and consider using volleyball nets as a test.
