I’m 15 and I got my blood work done and found out I have iron deficiency anemia, does that explain my bloating and occasional constipation?

Around May of 2019 I began to get bloated and in early august I started to have bowel issues, it’s gotten way better since then, but I haven’t exactly gone back to how I used to be beforehand. Did my iron deficiency possibly have anything to do with it and since I got my iron supplements will it make me constipated again, cause I’m worried about that?

You're symptoms aren't caused by anaemia but one of the side effects of the iron is constipation and what does come out will be black. The thing most commonly associated with anaemia is tiredness.
