If you want to come to The Creator God and claim your place in Heaven.... one part of that process ... required by God... is acceptance of His Son Jesus for who , and what, he is....... if you can not do that... and fully complete the rest of the Salvation process... without reservation... you can not come to God

The Bible says it is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgment. Why do we need Jesus? Because there is no other means of soul Salvation given by God the Father than to Repent of our sins and through Faith Trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. There is no other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be Saved. Acts 4;12.

once upon a time, a story book called the christian bible came along. people took it literally because some moron put it under non-fiction in the library because he didn't know what it meant. people then formed a small cult for the book. it was really popular. then, after a while, it became so big, the small cult built a building to worship the main protagonist, called Jesus. when people saw this building, they joined the cult. they then became so big that it was a religion. a way of life. these buildings were constructed everywhere. people need jesus to protect themselves of the 'villain' of the book. satan.

Actually, it IS because God loves us. Inherited and past sins are condemning us to death, because the wages sin pays is death.

Also, If you look at the wickedness in the world, people selfish and violent, the earth being destroyed by greed and the desire for drugs, sexual immorality destroying the family system that provides a positive structure for the next generation.

These are the results of sin while we are alive. But if we are unrepentant, such a life course does lead to everlasting death.

But the ransom paid by Jesus Christ's death provides a way out of this sad scene ---

: “For, indeed, Christ, while we were yet weak, died for ungodly men at the appointed time.

For hardly will anyone die for a righteous man; indeed, for the good man, perhaps, someone even dares to die.

But God recommends his own love [a·gaʹpen] to us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Much more, therefore, since we have been declared righteous now by his blood, shall we be saved through him from wrath.

For if, when we were enemies, we became reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, now that we have become reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

And not only that, but we are also exulting in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.”

    (Romans 5:6-11)

Consider this illustration. Supposing someone is drowning in deep water.

He may feel at first that he could save himself, but he keeps sinking.

Suppose also, that his leg gets broken while he struggles to keep alive.

He may really want to save his life, but that ability is beyond him.

Now, suppose someone with a boat sees this person struggling. The person with the boat is not asking to be paid for saving the drowning man, he just wants for him to be willing to be taken onto the boat.

It would be foolish for that man, who cannot save himself, to resist being taken out of the water and put into the boat. His desire to stay alive plus the knowledge that he cannot save himself on his own should lead that person to accept the help to get on the boat.

Similarly, people all over the world see the bad conditions here that have been caused by human sinfulness. And yet, many do not want to get the help that Almighty God provides through his Son's ransom, because it involves being willing to accept it and to let someone else help them.

Some say that there is no such thing as sin. But what do we see - with our own eyes? The results of sin - sickness, selfishness, violence, sorrow and death.

The Bible calls it "creation subjected to futility."

We could struggle, fight and kill one another, as Cain killed Abel. We could blame one another for the bad conditions in this world, as Adam and Eve each blamed someone else.

Or we could accept the help that the ONLY one who can deliver us from these evil conditions, from Almighty God through the ransom of his Son, Jesus Christ This is proof of God's love for us.

    John 3:16

16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.

So we don’t go to hell

To be resurrected into tangible, physical life, health, and immortality.

To have a chance to give up our sins and not have to be punished for them, when we go about it the right way.

To redeem us from hell when we go about things the wrong way. Hell is never forever.

There is only one reason and it is not because He loves us. It is only so we serve Him and not be tormented forever by the lake of fire. Revelation specifically says if we are saved that we will serve Him forever. Think about it.
