There is only one strategy.  Move to nuclear power.

France has >90% of its power from non-CO2 sources. They pay half as much for power as Germany who does not use nuclear and is <40% of their power from non-CO2 sources and despite their vast increase in solar and wind, are actually increasing their CO2 emissions.

This marks one of the differences between real environmentalists and fake leftists who put up children like Greta to take a solar-powered yacht to the UN and then have their staff fly back on planes, making more CO2 then if Greta and her family would have just flown in the first place.

The leftists PRETEND to care. They PRETEND to do things. They come up with idiotic measures like paper straws.

No offense, but this is a pretty dumb question. All of these are tactics of demonstration designed to raise awareness and demand Action Auto problem. It's like saying that sitting in at the Woolworth's counter won't solve racism. Of course it was, but it will draw attention to the problem and force people to act in ways which will solve racism.

Any kind of solution to climate change will require some sort of regulation of the economy, perhaps a carbon tax or a cap-and-trade system in order to more accurately price carbon. Let me explain, one of the big problems with the fossil fuel industry is the problem of externalities. This is an economics term meaning a cost which is not directly born by either the seller or the purchaser. In this case, the externality is the pollution of fossil fuels. Currently, the fossil fuel industry is effectively subsidized by the public since we allow them to dump their pollution into the air for free. This allows fossil fuels to be relatively cheap compared to what they would be if we priced in the cost of dealing with air pollution. Hey carbon tax would more accurately price fossil fuels and allow other means of energy generation to compete better. That's just one set of solutions to climate change. There could be others. However, because the problem is gradual it can be ignored, particularly by conservative politicians who are paid off by oil companies to ignore the problem. Protests are meant to draw attention to it and demand action by demonstrating that the people actually care about this.

Killing themselves would solve the crisis for them and save the planet from putrid scum.

As you have pointed out, Sir, liberals are sick in the head and only getting sicker.

LOL. The only actual way to solve climate change as they see it... is to kill 6 billion people.... but not THEM.... of course.

You see without what they claim causes climate change the planet cannot support 7 billion people.... you wanna fix it? You gotta do the wet work.

Maybe stroking their emotional support animals will help.

The climate has been changing for a billion years with the most profound changes taking place before man walked the planet and certainly before the industrial revolution .

I'd suggest our time , energy and resources be dedicated to adapting rather than trying to use taxes to harness control of the weather .
