Tell her to try an astringent. She doesn't need comforting, she needs to deal with whatever her skin issue is.

Try telling her that she has FAR bigger problems than her oily skin. She has a friend who is a prolific spammer who trolls on this site day after day with fake questions.

Treating her like a baby isn't going to help. She needs to know that MOST people have some type of skin problem. And each of us have to work with what we've got. And this desperate, pathetic need to be seen as 'beautiful' is silly. Most of our beauty comes from within. Who are ARE is what most people SEE. [No matter what we look like on the surface]
