In my opinion, the distinction between "service companies" and "information technologies" is not as watertight as the question suggests.

The industry which produces raw materiál (primary)

The industry refering to the manufacturing businesses (secondary)

The industry refering to the sevice companies (tertiary)

The industry refering to the information technologies (quarternary)
