I think you need to use the fact that the sum of a triangle angles is 180
and the fact that hj is a line so the top angle of the triangle plus angles 1 & 2 is 180
angletop = 180 - angleh - anglei
angletop also = 180 - angle1 - angle2
so gk is parallel
