HI. Obviously You've already connected an external monitor if You know it gets yo the password screen, or else the screen isn't completely non-functional.

You can get into the system's entire harddrive & files by simply booring with a different OS on a CDR / DVDR, download something like Puppy linux, burn the disc, & boot from it ... it will not touch the Windows installation at all until You click on the harddrive listed as sda1.

You can then see all the partitions & files on it for copying, deleting, renaming, whatever You want to do with them.

Tweak the searchterms here to fit Your Windows version, & other needs for aoll the info necessary.

we dont know what you want or whats happening. you wont get very far if you cannot see the screen(so you need to connect an external display) as the os could be displaying anything, like your pc did not start properly last time what do you want to do? and not the password display? or you may need to Click the mouse in the password box first. having an external display cures your issue.

    So what is your question?

Your best bet would be to do a factory reset of the computer. This will erase everything off of the computer and set it back to factory defaults (hence factory reset).
