My suffering nineteen years of severe disability does not compare equally to my suffering one day of clinical depression.

Disability and depression can't suffer. People suffer. So instead of "the suffering of", you would want to say "the suffering from" or "the suffering resulting from". Also the word is 'equivalent'.
