Buddy Holly was white. Look him up as one of the first in rock and roll. Stan Kenton was also white; orchestral jazz.

Anything that has even a hint of soul to it derived from Black people. Blues and Jazz musicians inspire a lot of music you hear today of all genres.

It took real emotion to be able to touch another person and get them to feel what you was talking about and white people just didn't possess that In their music. They could of had good voices but there was no depth before Blacks were allowed to perform music and teach them what true "singing" was about.
