Why would my foot hurt after elevating it?

I scraped my foot the other day on concrete. I thought it wasnt a big deal from the looks of it, so no x-ray. I've been keeping it elevated above my heart level. But, when I got to step down!!!! The most excruciating pain in my foot occurs before it can even touch the ground. I know the blood is rushing down my leg. But it's just a scape(to the "white meat"), should it really hurt that bad?

Could I have injured something else?

I clean it with alchohol..... I like the pain.. lol

Then I'll put neosporin on it and elevate for a while. Was told to stop wrapping it.

*Sorry my feet might be a little ashy*

** I got the scrapes cleaned at the hospital 2 days ago*j

Hello, nursing student here and I wanted to let you know you should get that checked up with a doctor, because the wound is pretty open and it could seriously get infected and also when you walk you feel pain? Yes, please go to a doctors.
