    That was most likely a typo. We use clench for fists and jaws.

    In this context it must be 'clenched', not 'clinched'.

    But note that being 'in a clinch' means being 'in a tight embrace'.

    You mean "clenched." "Clinched" is a different word.

    I believe that's "clenched," not "clinched."

    It means to contract or tighten - as with a fist or jaw.

    Clinch means to secure decisively - like a championship or a business agreement.
