What's a good family name for fictional royalty?

I used the name 'Hayden', but I'm not sure it sounds that posh. Opinions?

I'm interested to see that two people have asked what 'posh' means. It's very common in the UK, but I thought it was used in the US too.

It means something like 'self-consciously upper-class'. It is NOT the same as 'snobbish'.

  • Nobody pays any real attention to a royal families last name, till they're no longer the royal family.

Nobody has cared that the Windsors changed their name since England stopped fighting Germans.

I think Ó'Branagáin would be a good name, it's not a bit muck-savage, is it?

What is the nationality of their House?

Look up the early history of that nation. Find names of posh sounding nobility. Malatesta or Montefiore in I taly for example.
