    Speed = Distance/Time

    s = 6.2 miles/34 minutes

    s = 6.2 miles/34 minutes (60min/2hr)

    s = 10.941176470588235 mi/hr

    Now round to 2 digits

    s = 11 mph

    You are given miles and minutes. So convert minutes to hours. Now you have miles and hours. What does per mean in math terms?

    Distance Divided by Time (in hours) = Miles Per Hour.

    34 minutes = 0.5667 hours

    6.2 / 0.5667 = 10.94 Miles per hour (rounded = 11 Miles per hour)

    1 hour = 60 minutes. 6.2/34 =x/60---- They taught us Dimensional Analysis in nursing school. It's excruciating to learn (far easier to just shoot yourself in the gonads so you can skip school), but it's so simple and workable that Dora The Explora could do it.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimensional_analysis
